We set up shop in 2006 in Calgary, Alberta with the intention of changing the way that people think about interactive marketing. Since then, the company has moved to British Columbia (for the weather and wine, really) and has completed over 80 projects, ranging from iPhone web applications to online contests to full scale subscription based ecommerce sites with forums and help desks.

Our Process

Usually when you hire a firm to build you a website or an interactive application, you are assigned a project manager, a designer and a developer. Any concepts of design that you might have will be limited to that designer's abilities and creativity, and the functionality of the site will be limited to the developer's knowledge and effeciency. Add in the hours that the project manager eats up by going to meetings and typing up project briefs, and you are going to end up spending more money on a limited product.

Our approach is a little different. We flat rate any project management costs into the initial estimate, do the proper planning to figure out what the project requires, and work with multiple designers and developers to build skill sets on every project. This way, you are ensuring the best talent works on the part of the project that they are most suited for, which saves time and money.

All of our project costs, requirements and scope are fixed before the project begins, so that you won't be surprised at the end. If something really big changes along the way (ie. you want a forum added), we'll let you know and figure it out. We prefer to leverage existing frameworks and systems to keep costs down, rather than building everything from scratch (unless you want us to - we're great at customization!).
